Graduating with a Bachelor of Environmental Science in 1996, I soon discovered that scientific labs were not the best fit for my passion. I know now it was a necessary road to take as it now guides my ecotherapy style and climate grief work.
After years of travelling, and some time working in the not-for-profit sector, I realised that supporting others to heal and grow was the right fit for me. So I obtained a Vocational Graduate Diploma in Counselling in 2009 and went on to work in addiction, aged care and early childhood settings along the east coast of Australia. Since settling on the Sunshine Coast in 2016, I have 7 years in private practice as a registered counsellor.
Trauma, anxiety and addictions are my speciality as they are experiences I have lived through and discovered the tools to grow beyond. I also support with clients with relationship issues, parenting challenges, depression, perimenopause and menopause symptoms, sleep problems, or the general sense of “life doesn’t feel right and I don’t know why”.
